Thank you for trusting Fig Garden Optometry to care for you and your family! We value the trust our patients have placed in us and strive to provide the highest quality care efficiently, at a fair fee and with a personalized approach.

In all of our years of providing eye care we are used to facing challenges in order to provide our patients with quality, quality in the care we give and in the products we provide. We want to confirm to you we are committed to making this quality the driving force of all we do rather than outside influences. While we are pleased to partner with insurance/vision benefit companies, we cannot let their restrictions or requirements compromise the care we give to our patients. Therefore, every year we re-evaluate the benefit programs we partner with and make difficult decisions about whether to continue partnering with them going forward.

Starting in 2022 we will no longer be considered “In Network” for EyeMed VisionCare benefit plan. This was a very challenging and difficult decision as it impacts many patients whom we have enjoyed caring for*; their ongoing care is a great concern of ours. We hope to retain a relationship with them in the following ways:

If we have been monitoring, managing or treating a medical condition (for example: cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, blepharitis, etc). We can help take advantage of your medical insurance benefits for the medical examination portion of our services – for information on this option – click here.

When you do not have a medical condition, your EyeMed vision plan allows you to use your benefits to see an “Out of Network Provider” – for information on this option – click here.
